Punta de Mita is located at the northern end of Banderas Bay
(Bahía de Banderas) in Nayarit State on Mexico´s west coast. The
third largest bay in Mexico, its beaches, mountains and landscapes
have been cherished for their scenic beauty and ecological
importance since humans first set eyes on them.
